Bruce Almighty - God Speaks to all!
Call me weird if you want, but isn't is just amazing how God speaks to us all? As a Junior Soldier we make the promise that "we promise to pray, to read our bible and lead a life that is clean in thought, word and deed".
I was watching Bruce Almighty tonight on Channel 7 I think it was and cannot get over how much it displays alot about God to us. During the whole show I was reminded how God receives well over 1,000,000+ prayers every day/hour/minute/second and he manages to read them all one-by-one and give us the answer he deems to be good. For a few years now I have not been praying nor reading my bible everyday, and something happened whilst watching that movie.
God spoke to me, for you see God created us all individually, each with their own talents, and he made each of us unique. He can name us all one by one and can count every little tiny hair on our head. At the end of Bruce Almighty, the camera shows onto a homeless man or so it seems, and this homeless guy formed into the image of the person whom was playing God. This brought me to remember a very important passage of God's word...
Which (have interoperated as cannot remember exact location) says something along the lines of "If you feed the homeless, give money to the poor, pray for the sinner, you are doing that for me". Who would have thought Channel 7 would show a movie that displays so much about God.
I pray that whomever reads this blog, or whomever watches this movie, is saved and will know the love of the Lord Jesus. Amen.
God Bless,
Andrew
Daniel prayed: "Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; he sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him. I thank and praise you, O God of my fathers: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king."
Daniel 2:20-23 (New International Version)
