Well it all started with yesterday afternoon where the 'Family Picnic' at Kings Park happened and this was managed by Captain Andrew van Gaalen. There was a bouncy castle, a bungee cord basket ball game, face painting, human size board game of snakes and ladders, plus loads more.

The band "One For All" played their amazing songs and provided some lovely musical entertainment from 5pm. This was defiantly a great start to the Connections WA for 2009.

Today, over 1,000 people packed into the Grand Ballroom in the Perth Convention Centre awaiting an amazing afternoon. Commissioner Jim Knaggs preached the gospel and many answered Gods callings on them. This was a great start to the morning then from 12.30pm - 1.30pm we had lunch. People could bring a picnic or whatever they wanted, my family and I chose to go to Subway because it was 'healthy'.

1.50pm stuck and the Band gave some amazing music before the service as well as the Connections Chorus (or songsters). The meeting started, and various activities occurred. Commissioner Jim Knaggs again preached and lots and lots of people answered. I myself answered but did not go to the mercy seat.

Little did we know it and then 6pm had hit us. 2Love Church at Morley was happening and boy was it wonderful. Phil Messanger from Morley preached and boy did the crowd respond. Yet another success.

I leave you and end this entry with a verse from John 10:10.

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
John 10:10 (New International Version)

God Bless,
Andrew
