Not if you win or lose, but its how you play the game
For those who are unable to access the site, I have copied my blog entry to here.
Who remembers that saying, “It’s not about if you win or lose, it’s about how you play the game”. Well, I have been watching the Olympics the last few weeks and unless someone got Gold it was deemed to be a ‘failure’. I find it rude.
All throughout school we are taught that it’s not about winning, it’s about having fun, but now we get taught unless you win you are a failure, what the?
It has great that God accepts us as his children for who we are, no matter how much bad stuff we have done in the past, God forgives and forgets. Something, which we as Humans find hard to do, we find it hard to forgive people for wrong doings.
There have been people in my lifetime that have done wrong against me and I have forgiven them, because I feel if I do not forgive them, how could God forgive me?
My family and I as your aware (if you have been reading my entries) had a problem at one church, which resulted in my family leaving and moving to another church. I want to thank God for his grace and love during the hard time. I personally relied on God during this moment, leaving what I had and going into unknown land, but I also want to thank God for the people at the new church. They have accepted me for, well, being me… Andrew. They have gotten alongside me and I already have made some great friends, which is good and in record time also – God medal for me please :P (only kidding). I want to thank God for the acceptance I have received and pray that God will use this church for his will.
In other news, I started a diet last Thursday and today is the 1 week mark, and already I am anxious to find out how much weight I have lost. It should be a good amount as I have stuck to it very well. So to end this afternoons entry I want to leave you this entry with a bible verse.
"One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple." - Psalm 27:4
God Bless,
Andrew
